China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome

Well dolls as I said in my last post I bought 4 of the new China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome polishes yesterday!!!!! This a duo chrome collection that looks amazing in the bottle, a bit sad that they aren't as duo chrome on the nails thou. I got Want my bawdy (rich blue with slight purple), No plain Jane (purple with a slight pink/gold), Unpredictable (green/gold) and
Deviantly darling (teal/green).

The application of all these polishes were fantastic, only took 2 coats to get them fully opaque. The brush strokes smoothed out nicely on the second coat.

On my left hand I used Want my bawdy and No plain Jane. On my right hand I used Unpredictable and Deviantly darling.

No plain Jane and Unpredictable are definatly the most duo chrome out of these four, especially in person. However the bases of all of these are stunning that I love them even without the duo chrome showing on the nails. So much so that my toes are now Want my bawdy.

What do you guys think of these colors??

Smiles :)

Hey all, hope your week has been going good. I meant to post this yesterday but got side tracked with my new Bohemian colors!!!!!!! I do appologize but now you'll get 2 posts tonight!!!!!! So in case you didnt get it from my last statement yesterday I bought 4 of the new China Glaze Bohemian collection, which will be shown in my next post :)

As for this one I finally did some more stamping!!!! I used my BM 304 plate to add some smiley faces to my Billie/Elemental Styles mani. I am really impressed with the BM plates Ive used so far. all of the images have transferred perfectly for me so far :)

I rally like the way this turned out, I didnt know how it would look with the glitter and I loved it, really bright and cheerful, great way to start a Monday as I was wearing this yesterday.

Anyways dolls look out for my next post <3

Elemental Styles Neon Lights

Good morning everyone!!! Hope your all have a great weekend so far!!! Mine hasn't been too bad, just spending lots of time with the hubby and spoiling him for his birthday. We went to a comedy show last night which was alot of fun and today were going to see his family :).

For his birthday I decided to paint my fingers his favorite color which is orange!!! I started out with 2 coats of Billie Orange which is an awesome neon orange cream that actually goes fully opaque in just 2 coats. I then did 1 coats of Elemental Styles Neon Lights which is a clear base with yellow and pink matte glitter over top of the orange. Neon Lights is such a cute color, and applied really nice. No fishing for glitter.

Isn't this a fantastic combo!!! Its a bit hard to see the pink glitter in the pictures, but in real life it is more noticeable. The hubby loved the mani which is what I was going for. Tonight im hoping to stamp over when we get back :)

Well dolls I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!!

Pretty and Polished Sand Art

Hey all hope your all having a great weekend!!! Last night I went and saw the new Batman, and it was fantastic!!!!! Definitely a must see for anyone that likes the batman movies, and tonight im going to a comedy show for the hubby's birthday :).

Now as for the nails today I have a manicure for you that I took off right after doing it. I sadly didn't like it. I decided to layer Sand Art over white, and with one coat of Sand Art I felt it looked weird, with 2 coats it looked better but I still wasn't in love. I think next time im going to try and layer it over a pink, green or blue. I feel that would look better on me. But I figured id show you all swatches of it anyways :)

What do you guys think of it??? Ill definatly give it another chance before I make my final decision on it. Tomorrow morning ill post a pic of the mani im wearing tonight, all ill say is its very orange as its my hubby's favorite color :)

Hope you all have a great Saturday <3

Its abasolutly beautiful, defiantly going to have to try it out tomorrow!!!

You dont even know how excited I am for Sand Art!!! Now to deicde what to layer it over tomorrow, white, blue or black??? Hmmm the posibilites hehe.

So as promised yesturday today I ahve the Hits Phenomena collection. I started out with 2 caots of Orly Liquid Vinyl and then did 2 coats of each of the Hits Phenomena Colors. On my left have I used Borealis on my ring and middle finger and Moonbow on my thumb, pointer and pinkie. And on my right hand I used Air Glow on my ring and middle and Afterglow on my thumb, pointer and pinkie.

Moonbow is by far my favorite in this collection. It goes from an awesome teal to a vibrant purple. Its absolutly stunning. But all these colors are amazing!!! Im so glad I got these in a swap as they normally arent somthing id purchase but im truely in love with them!!!!

I hope you all have a great night!!!

Thumb - Metallic Neptune
Pointer - Metallic Mars
Middle - Metallic Jupiter
Ring - Metallic Saturn
Pinkie - Metallic Venus

Id have to say Neptune, Jupiter and Venus are my favorite by far, I love the duo chrome in them and the shimmer that's in Jupiter. I definatly say to invest in these if you have the chance too :)

Julep O'Canada

Hey lovelies, hope you all are having a great week already. Yesterday and today I got some fantastic nail mail!!! Yesterday I came home to my Julep box and a swap and then today I got my W7 polishes that I bought!!!! Also I quickly just wanted to let you all know I created a facebook page for my blog, so go on over and like it if you'd like to be in touch with me ever more <3

First off is my lovley swap from a girl in my birthday group, she got my my first Nubars - Treasure and Brillaint!!!! They are sooo pretty and cant wait to try these babies out!!!

For my Julep box this month I choose It Girl (Mila, Kate, and Daphne), I got O' Canada for free since im Canadian and I added on America and Chelsea.

And I got 5 of the W7 Metallic Planets collection - Neptune, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Venus. Ill post a manicure of these tomorrow so stay tuned <3

Now for today mani I decided to try out Juleps O'Canada over Orly Skinny Dip. In love the colors in O'Canada but it was sooo thick. The only good thing was that I didnt have to fish for the red glitter but it was a big gloppy mess to apply. However I do love the end color combo.

I really wish I had this polish for Canada day, I soooo would have rocked it :) But there is always next year ;). Now I dont know if you guys remember about a week ago when I dyed my hair? Well I fianly have a picture for you all!!! It doesnt do the base color complete justice but it shows you whtat color it is :)

It is more purple in person, but I am in love with this color. Ill defiantly be rocking it for a while :)

Orly Skinny Dip

Hey all!!!! I hope you all had a great weekend!!! I know I did besides having to work, I loved getting to spend time with my niece and nephews Saturday night. I was hoping to check in last night as I had time after work to paint my nails but the Bachelorette Finale (sooooo happy Jef won), Big Brother and True Blood took over my night he he. But im back!!!!! So hopefully tonight ill be able to stamp with mani, and get back to doing around 4 posts a week as I know Ive been slacking a bit lately and I appologize just been really busy.

Now before getting onto the manicure I just want to give a shout out to my Canadian followers. In case you guys didnt know we have a facebook group for us called Canadian Lacquer Lovers, feel free to come join us over there. And if you live in Ontario specifically we also have a Ontario Nail Polish Addicts, for everyone around here to talk polish, where to buy and get togethers :) So hopefully some of you guys will join us over there :)

Now onto the nails :) This weekend at my work we had a 50% off reduced sale so I ended up picking up Orly Skinny Dip from the Feel The Vibes collection. It's a gorgeous blue cream with the slightest hint of blue shimmer in it. It applied beautifully in 2 coats. Please don't  mind the nubbins they needed to be filled down lol.

As you all know I am in love with blue polish latley, so of course this is right up my ally. Its bright but not blinding neon which I love, and its so summery looking. I would like your guys import on my pictures, I recently changed the settings on my camera and I feel like this photo is alot nicer then past ones, what do you all think??

Ohhh also have you guys seen the news about China Glaze coming out with an holographic collection in the spring of 2013??? You can find the nail wheel picture on Polish-aholics Anonymous and they all look amazing!!! Ill definatly have to invest in that whole collection lol.

Well all I hope you all have a great Monday, I know its hard and hopefully ill have another post tonight or tomorrow <3 xoxo

LDOS: Dotting tool summer fun

Hey dolls, hope you all have been having a good week. Ive had a busy one with being back to work and my nephews birthday this weekend. I was off today so finished making his cup cakes and dyed my hair this week, ill post a pic soon of that. So today I decided I would do another challenge and do a mani that ill wear till probably sunday. I'm going up for the party after work on Saturday so I wont have time again till then to do the nails.

So for the Lazy Days of Summer Challenge tonight I decided to try a ruffle mani. I figure this deals with the summer as alot of bathing suits have ruffles and the bright colors just sort of enhance it.

For the ruffles I used the following colors, once I went through them all I just repeated the pattern till I did the whole nail :) I also used my largest dotting tool for this.

China Glaze Pink Plumeria
China Glaze Purple Panic
China Glaze Hey Sailor
Orly Melt Your Popsicle
China Glaze Sun-Kissed
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard
Nails Inc Baker Street
China Glaze Sweet Hook

I loveee the way this turned out. Ill definatly try this technique again with a different color combo. But its cute and doesn't take long at all. Id say just over an hour while getting distracted :)

Now I thought I'd show you the cupcakes I made for my nephews 3rd birthday. He wanted them to be cars themed!

I got the toys from bulk barn as they were way to cute to pass up. I also wanted to let you all know that I changed some of the prices on my blog sale :) I hope you all have a great weekend and Ill be back on sunday <3

LDOS: Pool Party

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! I know I did relaxing and then spending today at the beach as im back at work tomorrow. So what better way to end a vacation then to make a polish for today's Lazy Days of Summer Challenge : Pool Party.

I was originally gonna do a jelly sandwich using Revlon Royal and a bunch of different glitters but decided to combine it all in a bottle and see how it turned out. And it is complete and utter love!!!!!!

I started out with an empty Orly topcoat bottle, poured a bit of Revlon Royal in and then added in Kleancolor Sugar Coat, China Glaze Snow Globe, 365 Days of Color Explosion (wish there was more of this in there but didnt want to use this whole awesome polish he he), Models Own Juicy Jules and Models Own Indian Ocean. I then topped it up with clear.

And here's what came out of these 6 colors :)

Now this color is even better in person, I had a hard time trying to capture the color accurately. The depth of the glitter is insane as well. I keep getting distracted by my nails white typing this he he.
For this photo I used 3 coats, in the picture you can see a bit of VNL but in person its not really noticeable.

So the reason I choose this idea to represent pool was I thought the blue base represented water in a pool and the glitter is to be bits of streams adn confetti in the water after a huge party. I know its a bit of a stretch but I lovessss it.

Also just a quick reminded about my blog sale tab up top!!!

Holo Cheetah Print

I decided this morning that I needed a new manicure for the weekend and that you guys deserved another post before I go away for the weekend. Now if your going to be out on the boat all weekend in the sun what kind of polish do you need?? Holo goodness of course!!!!! So I decided to do a light silver holo base, stamp it with black and fill in the cheetah print with other holos!!!!

This manicure came out even better than I imagined. I am in love with it, soo cant wait to get a pciture of it in the sun this weekend and when I do ill add it to this post when I return.

I started out with 2 coats of Jade Psicodelica. Its an amazing silver holo. All the jades apply like a dream. And the holo in them is absolutly insane!!!!

Mmmm look how awesome that is!!!! I then used my Konad Black stamping polish and the DRK-A plate to add on the cheetah print. I tried both the black and stamping with a holo black but surprisingly prefer the solid cream black best.

After that I used the following polishes to fill in the cheetah print using a dotting tool.
Jade Vermelho Surreal, Fascinio Violeta, Delirio Rosa, Hypnose, and Energy as well as Hits Esmalte. I was going for a rainbow of holos :) And I think I did just that.

I'm so glad I re did my nails today, this is one manicure I wont mind looking at for a few days!!. What do you guys think?? Love all the holo??

Well dolls I wont be back again will sunday night so have a fantastic weekend!!!

LDOS: Favorite Towel

Hello lovelies, I had time to stamp my nails today and check in for a blog post about The Lazy Days Of Summer Challenge number 5: Inspired by your favorite towel. My favorite towel is one I got while on my first cruise with my husband. We did a Eastern Caribbean cruise and stopped at awesome places like Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba and St. Thomas.

This particular towel I got from St. Thomas. I normally don't buy towels on vacation as I collect shot glasses from everywhere Ive been but this towel I feel in love with. Its a pink base (my favorite color), with white Hibiscus flowers on it (my favorite flower) so when I saw it I had to have it. There are bits of blue through out the towel but I'm not a huge fan of it on the towel so I left it out of this manicure he he.

Now that you know the story behind my towel, ill tell you what I did for my nails :). I started out with 3 coats of china Glaze Loves a Beach. I'm sooooo in love with this polish, Ive already put a good dent in the bottle :(. Once that was really dry I used BM-318 and Konad White stamping polish for the flowers. Apparently I tinted my topcoat a bit when doing it over the pink earlier as i got some though the white :( However I do like the way it turned out and love the white on the neon pink.

Ill try and add a picture of the towel when I bring it backup from the car, its in my beach bag currently he he. Anyway if I don't talk to you all tomorrow I hope you all have a fantastic weekend <3

Whimsical Ideas By Pam Kitty Glitter

Hey dolls, hope you all are doing great tonight!!! Ive been enjoying my vacation outside this week that's why I haven't been around everyday. Trying to soak up as much sun as I can while I have the change too. And of course dealing with that burn in the mean time lol. Tomorrow im spending it with the hubby and my grandma and then going to see Ted so I might check in at night.

However now to be polish related I have a very special color to show you all. Today I got Whimsical Ideas By Pam, Kitty Glitter!!!!! Its the prefect pale aqua with silver hex glitter and micro glitter. You could definatly build this polish up to opacity with probably 3 coats but I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze Kinetic Candy and then layered a coat of Kitty Glitter over top. Kitty Glitter applied sooo well, didnt have to do any fishing for the glitter :)

Isn't this perfect!!!!! This is my first polish from Pam and definatly wont be my last. I'm so impressed by them and the bottles are sooo sticking adorable with the labels and the bow tied on the lid. What do you guys think???

Also just a reminder to you all about my first ever blog sale going on!!!!
Hope you all have a great night <3

Depends 313 and Blog Sale News!!!

Tonight I have a very cute polish to show you all. One of my lovely birthday group ladies from Sweden got this polish for me and I'm in love. Its Depend 313, incase you don't know depend they are minis in a little rectangle bottle that are sooo cute. This is my first one and im madly in love with it that I already asked for a backup of it he he.

Depend 313 goes on perfectly in 2 coats. Its a purple base with a fine green micro shimmer. Its a real stunner of a color.

Isn't the bottle adorable???? And of course the color is just stunning. Now I thought how would Cult Nails Seduction look over top of this. And to my pleasant surprise its absolutly amazing!!! Its like the 2 colors were meant for each other. So I added one coat of it onto my ring fingers.

I absolutly love how you can still see the green shimmer through Seduction. How well these two go together is the reason why im getting a back up bottle of Depend 313. Its just crazy how well they go together.

Now that Ive confessed my new love for Depend 313, I thought I would tell you guys about my first blog sale!!!!

That is a picture of all my lovelies that im selling, only the crackles are missing from this picture. That's what 100 bottles of polish looks like lol.

So im aiming to mostly sell these polishes but I will swap them for items on my wish list. I do have all the full details and a link to the sale which is on my goggle docs stash list that (all sale items are marked with an X) and my wish list up above. Please go check it out and let me know if you have any questions. <3

Purple-tastic

Well im officially on vacation till next Tuesday so I decided that my first manicure would be purple using 2 of my new hits! I love purple polish and definatly don't own enough of these. Its my goal to find a neon purple cream, so if you know of one let me know :)

For this manicure I used Hits Dionisio and Hestia, both took two coats and both applied really well. I'm so impressed with Brazil polishes. Every one Ive tried so far has been amazing!!!!

In case you don't know these colors Dionisio is the dark purple and Hestia is the light purple. I love the way these two look together. But I must say I do prefer Dionisio.

Now to share a picture of my adorable cat Merf all stretched out by my computer he he.

Isn't he adorable???!!!! I love my kitty he he.

Well dolls I do hope I can get a bunch of manicure done this week, got a few exciting plans like fishing, the beach, and visiting the family but ill also be around here <3

LDOS: Flip Flops

Tonight I have another Lazy Days of Summer Challenge for you all, flip flops. I decided it was fitting to do today as I spent most of it at the beach soaking up some rays and swimming. It was sooo much fun until my back started radiating alot of heat and I realized I burnt my back lol. Lets just hope it turns to a tan :)

So for today's manicure I started out with 2 of my new jades Hypnose and Fascinio Violeta, these are probably 2 of my top  faves of the whole collection. I used 2 coats of each of them and like usual they applied like a dream :)

I then decided to use my new BM plates and stamped on a full nail flip flop design from plate BM-309 using Konad black stamping polish. The first picture is with flash in artificial light the second is in the sun at the beach :)

This was the first time Ive used my BM plates and im really impressed, they stamped really well. And I love this manicure so summery and fun. And is really making me look forward to my vacation that starts on Monday even thou im just hanging around home :)

Pretty and Polished Tart and Cheer Camp

Hello lovelies, hope you all have been having a great week!! And to any of my American reader a Happy 4th of July to you all!!!!

Yesterday I came home to 2 new Pretty and Polished minis, Cheer Camp and Tart. They are both even better in person!!!!

Chelsey describes Tart as ``a gorgeous shade of light lavender with a soft blue to purple shimmer and is on the sheer side. It has chartreuse, blue, purple, red, white and pink glitter spread through out but it isn't completely packed with it.`` and Cheer Camp as ``a cute and frilly polish. It has a somewhat sheer milky base that is very lightly tinted pink. The pink tint is so slight that when you paint one coat over a white polish it hardly picks up any of the pink tint at all. You can get full coverage (NO VNL) after 2-3 layers.``

You can buy her polishes on her etsy shop.

On my left hand I did 2 coats of China Glaze Sweet hook and then 2 coats of Cheer Camp. On the right hand I did 2 coats of Finger Paints Aren't You Glad-iolous and then 2 coats of Tart. I could have used 1 coat of each of the Pretty and Polished colors but did 2 to add another layer of glitter. They both applied really well and I didnt have to dig for any glitter :)

Aren't these both just adorable, I love the colors!!!! Each of Chelsey's polishes I own
are freaking fantastic!!!!

Now I also came home to some good nail mail today... the new Bundle Monster Stamping Plates!!!!

So stay tuned to an upcoming manicure using them :)

LDOS: Summer Ombre

I finally have another Lazy Days of Summer challenge post for you all today, and its my summer ombre. But before I get to that just wanted to let you all know I went through all your guys comments again today adn replied to you all. I love reading them all, they always make me smile :).  I'm also hoping that all my fellow Canadians are enjoying there holiday today like I am :) Just taking it easy and doing stuff around the house he he.

Now onto the nails. For my summer ombre I decided to use all pink holos, as i figured the holo would make them really summery :) And I must say that after doing this manicure I need more pink holos, my pinky color just doesn't fit well enough and I had no others to use :(

The colors I used are the following:
Thumb - Jade Delirio Rosa
Pointer - Hits Afrodite
Middle - Jade Seducao Rosa
Ring - Jade Deja Vu
Pinkie - OPI DS Extravagance

As you can tell im loving my Jades right now, they are just sooo awesome I just cant stop using them and staring at them. I know the DS extravagance isn't the best fit for these colors but I think it works and does it job he he and its a gorgeous color which is a plus :)

I then decided to add some stamping to it, I choose a full nail design from the DRK-A Plate that I haven't used yet and used Sally Hansen Insta Dry Silver Sweep to stamp with.

I love the way the silver looks with the pink holos. The top two pictures are taken in the sunlight coming through my window with no flash, and the bottom two are with flash in artificial light.

Now if you want to see more awesome summer head on over to visit the other lovely ladies who are participating in this challenge!!!
